Common questions

How much does framing cost?

It depends on the size, the plans and the timber. We look over your plans or the site and give you a clear written quote. Obligation free.

Can you fix an old floor or wall frame?

Yes. We replace rotten frames and level floors that have dropped.

Do I need plans or approval?

Extensions and structural changes usually need plans and council or certifier approval. We can work from your plans and talk you through what’s needed.

Is framing work covered by a warranty?

Yes. NSW law gives home building work a 6-year warranty on major defects, like structural problems, and 2 years on other defects. On jobs over $20,000 we also take out HBCF home warranty insurance through icare. It protects you if we can’t finish the job or fix a defect, for example if we go out of business.
